Mo’Nique, In an Open Relationship?
I have enjoyed watching MONIQUE since she started in comedy. Yeah she gets a little dirty with her comedy but that is her act. If she is talking about her size, skinny women or her body parts. It is comedy and she chooses to talk about those subjects. Now you always have a choice. Listen or do not listen.
She has been in several movies: and over the years she has improved her acting skills. I think she deserved the Oscar Award. Unless you are an actor you do not understand how hard it is to be vulnerable and to allow yourself to go to dark places in your own life to make the character real and believable.
Barbara Walters was WRONG, SO WRONG in calling this woman’s children LITTLE CREATURES. 1. Does she and Monique have that type of relationship? 2. Does she even know these children? 3. She did it on live TV, even if it was something they said between the two of them.
People want to defend BW and say, well, it was not racist because BW dated a Black Man before. Hello, how long ago was that? She admitted that she chose her career over this man and he chose his career over her. Now the tell, tell is has she dated any black man since? As far as the questions that was asked. BW is tough on all of her guest so that was her being a reporter and getting people the information out that the guest wanted out and that the viewers want to hear.
Now my brother, Warren Ballentine always say, “watch with a third eye and listen with a third ear.” , did Monique make the open relationship comment for controversy? Controversy brings more people to you and people will be talking about you. Or was she serious? If she was serious then that is her marriage not yours. If it works for her then it is for her.
If you are in a relationship and your partner is cheating and you know it, then you are in an open relationship you just have not taken advantage of your openness. If you are married and you KNOW that your spouse is cheating and you are still there, then you are in a open relationship, you are the only one married in that relationship. She said her relationship was based on honesty. well she just want to know what her man is up to. If she loves it then that is all that matters.
I hate shaving my legs and I will do it only when I want to. Monique, You Go Girl. I love your show, but you do yell a little too much, I just turn the volume down during the times you get excited. Keep doing your thing.
